Actually A/B testing is a help for the customers
its a easily available service tool
I agree, if timing of A/B tests performed is perfect. Otherwise, A/B test can be misleading. Increase or decrease can be result of previous campaigns, new features or milliseconds gained due to code re factoring.
This is a problem today. The experts have convinced nearly everyone that one can get it right or one can get it fast but one cannot get it right and fast. I think if one is willing to do the homework, one can. But what do I know. I was only able to convince management on this point twice. The first time we cut software development by 40%. The second time we cut order-to-delivery time by 82%. The veep was so scared of our team he fired the team manager and [eventually] the rest of us also. Hmmm ... maybe that was what the experts saw coming.

I agree, if timing of A/B tests performed is perfect. Otherwise, A/B test can be misleading. Increase or decrease can be result of previous campaigns, new features or milliseconds gained due to code refactoring.
What is if A/Bs are performed for very long time while new features are rolled-out (i.e Google BIG search box has bee tested for year before finally pushed )?

Its very hard to distinguish results, very tough to make decision and balance between speed development and making right turns.
